LENTEN REGULATIONS & SCHEDULE
Abstinence for those whose health permits:
All Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence. Persons fourteen years of age and older are bound to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday, all the Fridays of Lent and Good Friday.
Everyone 18 or older and under 59 years of age is bound to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Only one full meatless meal is allowed. Two other meatless meals sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each one’s needs, but together they should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted. When health or ability to work would be seriously affected, the law does not oblige.
Confessions in addition to the regular schedule:
Confessions will also be heard every Monday evening from 6:00 to 6:45 pm.
Mass and Stations of the Cross on Lenten Fridays
Mass in English at 5:30 pm and in Polish at 7:00 pm.
Stations of the Cross follow both Masses.
There is no 7:00 am Masses on Fridays during Lent.
Gorzkie Zale after the 11:30 am Sunday Mass.
Stations of the Cross
Join us virtually for the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross are presented every Friday during Lent after the 5:30PM Mass. This beautiful devotion can now be part of your Friday, or any day, you wish to pray it.
