Lesson 2
This is Lesson 2. It addresses our belief in God the Son. Listen carefully to the audio for this Lesson and follow along. To help with this lesson, it is broken up into a logical sequence. Think about what you already know of the story of Jesus.
- We know that Jesus existed for all time. John tells us this in his gospel.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God. We also know that God is Triune. Triune means three-in-one. and from this comes our belief in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We know that He came down from heaven to save us from our sins. - We know that Jesus was born with Mary being his mother.
- We know that Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried.
- We know that Jesus rose from the dead.
- We know that Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father.
- We know that Jesus will come again.
