CCD – Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (Catechesis)
is an association established in Rome in 1562 for the purpose of providing religious education. Its modern usage, often abbreviated CCD, is a religious education program of the Roman Catholic Church, normally designed for children. There is a counterpart for adults known as the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

It is a rewarding experience to work with the children. (If you have children in the program their registration fee will be waived if you volunteer to teach).

Note: the CCD-9 Confirmation Class has a special section dedicated to enhancing their learning. Parents are welcomed, invited and encouraged to go through the lesson plans, as well as view the videos and teaching material.
